Rosetta, a space probe from ESA successfully deployed the Philae lander on the comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko, with leading European companies including HUBER+SUHNER, e2v and Terma contributing to the success.
Huber + Suhner opened its new state-of-the-art facility in Changzhou, East China, which will enable the company to manufacture products from all three core technologies – radio frequency, fiber optics and low frequency – in China.
HUBER+SUHNER has developed a ground-breaking connector system for distributed antenna systems (DAS). It is field mountable and offers an easy assembling with its one piece design. In combination with an all-in-one cable preparing tool for ½” corrugated cables this connector system can be deployed extremely fast. HUBER+SUHNER Quick-Fit plus connectors are available for a variety of plenum corrugated cables with N, 4.1/9.5, 4.3-10 as well as 7/16 interfaces.

It supports various wireless bands such as cellular 2G, 3G, 4G LTE (US / EUR), WiFi MIMO and GPS/Glonass for industrial wireless and M2M communication, for WiFi offload, carrier-grade WiFi as well as for small cells and WiFi hotspots.
The multicoax solution MXP offers an attractively priced 18 Gbps /18 GHz as well as a high-end 40 Gbps / 40 GHz version in a very small form factor. With reliable mating and ease of use that make them both especially suited to bench-top and system testing, the solutions can also be used as an interconnect within automated semiconductor test equipment.
