Renaissance has developed a new Ka-Band waveguide isolator that is designed for downconverters used in space applications. The isolator can operate between 27.5 to 31 GHz with 0.15 dB insertion loss over 5% bandwidth and 20 dB isolation and return loss.
Renaissance Electronics has developed a new low loss, high isolation waveguide isolator for Satcom applications that covers 43 to 46 GHz with industry standard interface of WR 22. With loss of 0.5 dB and 18 dB isolation, it is ideal for low noise figure Satcom receivers.

Renaissance has produced a new low loss L-band high power drop-in circulator to protect PA's used in military radio transmitters. Covering 1025 to 1095 MHz, this circulator has just 0.25 dB of insertion loss over -55 to +85 C while handling 1300 W peak at 1% duty cycle.

Renaissance’s new broadband circulator is ideal for transmitter protection application. Operating over 962 to 1213 MHz, this device can withstand 2000 W peak and 20 W average power levels. It is designed to sustain temperatures from -55 to +120 C while the loss is maintained below 0.5 dB.

Renaissance has recently manufactured a 50 kW peak power circulator that can sustain 300 W CW operating at 775 to 920 MHz. The input and output connectors are 7/8” EIA and the third port has a HN connector.

Targeting the receive side requirements for a low loss waveguide isolator, Renaissance has developed a product with less than 0.2 dB insertion loss over 20.1 to 21.2 GHz from -40 to +85 C. Ensuring more than 26 dB isolation, the unit improves system performance considerably. With a size of 1.5" x 0.88" x 0.5", it can handle up to 50 W of forward and 5 W of reverse power.
The HHPAW-441 is a W-Band pulsed high power amplifier that offers +27 dBm (½ W) of RF power over the range from 92 to 96 GHz. This amp can be operated with a variable pulse rate from CW to 100 nS. The amplifier uses the latest MMICs that are power combined for the maximum RF power and gain.
Renaissance has designed a new octave band drop-in circulator, 3G7BH that covers a bandwidth of 5.2 to 11 GHz over -20 ° to +85° C. With insertion loss less than 0.95 dB over the entire band, the circulator is robust to handle 20 W of incident RF power. Return loss and isolation of 13 dB ensures better match to the RF circuitry where it's being placed.
In view of LTE requirements, Renaissance Electronics Corporation has developed a coaxial circulator operating from 700 to 960 MHz. It is available in standard 1.50” x 1.67” footprint and can withstand 150 watts of CW power and offers insertion loss of 0.7 dB over -40 to +75C. This makes the design attractive for both indoor and outdoor applications.
Since 1991 Renaissance has been a key supplier of Ferrite devices for major military and commercial applications. These state of the art Isolators and Circulators cover the frequency range from 40 MHz to 120 GHz with low insertion loss and High Isolation specifications.
The HMC10H and HMI10H series High Power Circulators and Isolators operate in the 75 to 110 GHz waveguide band. They handle up to 20 W of average power and 350 W peak. A RF bandwidth of 2 to 3 GHz and isolation of 18 dB are typical. These devices are used to buffer mismatches, signal duplexers, and to couple amplifier stages.
The HLNAV-364 Low Noise Amplifier covers the frequency range from 50 to 65 GHz minimum and is usable over a wider range. The unit offers a minimum of 25 dB of gain over that range. The LNA bandwidth is matched to the frequency range of WR-15 waveguide-to-coax adapters allowing it to be used for broadband test setups.
Renaissance Electronics has designed an in-band duplexer for LTE cell site applications. In a very compact footprint of 4.75” x 3.15”, the duplexer provides 30 dB of rejection between the Tx and Rx. The insertion loss is less than 1 dB.
The HLNAV-360 is a low noise amplifier with integrated isolators at the input and output ports. The LNA operates over the 57 to 64 GHz frequency band with 27 dB gain, noise figure of 6.0 Db and a P1dB of +12 dBm. RF interfaces are via WR-15 waveguide with standard UG-385/U flanges.

The HRAD6.5-005 Power Amplifier /Upconverter covers the frequency range from 5.5 to 7.0 GHz and is usable to 7.2 GHz. MMIC technology is used to achieve high reliability and repeatability. An output level of 3.5 W saturated has been achieved. The SSG is 40 dB at 6.5 GHz. Multiple devices buffered by ferrite junctions used to achieve the best circuitry allowing the use of a single bias to power the amplifier.
