The HAFM Series of active multipliers is available in models ranging from 30 to 100 GHz. A wide variety of multiplication factors from X2 up to X6 provide the customer with design flexibility for many applications. Basic multiplier circuits can be cascaded to achieve higher order multiplication factors.
Renaissance has developed a new coaxial isolator that operates from 2 to 8 GHz in a single compact package size. Typical insertion loss is 0.5 dB and at band edges, the loss typically is 1.0 dB at room temperature. With return loss and isolation tuned to 14 dB at room temperature, this unit is ideal for EW Jammer type applications.
To protect expensive high power amplifiers operating at X-Band, Renaissance has developed a new broadband coaxial isolator that operates from 9 to 9.6 GHz and can handle 50 W reflected power. Insertion loss of 0.5 dB is maintained over -40 to +85 C.The reflected power is dissipated to the mounting surface with an extended heat sink that must be maintained below 50 C for CW operations.
Renaissance Electronics has designed a high power divider that divides power from 6 to 18 dB across the output ports. Operating between 1100 and 1500 MHz, this 8-way divider has a footprint of 8” x 5”. The divider can handle 350 W peak and 35 W CW.
Renaissance has designed a high power drop-in Circulator for EW Jammer application. Covering 2.5 to 6 GHz, this isolator can handle 100 W of CW Power over -40 to +95 C. The design is covered under a US Patent that provides a broadband match and power handling using a unique steel housing.
The HMI AND HMC series broadband ferrite junction isolators and circulators are available from 18 to 120 GHz. They utilize a low loss H-plane structure in a modified Y-junction format to provide minimum loss with maximum isolation and bandwidth. 2 GHz bandwidths with 20 dB of isolation are standard. Wider bandwidth, high power handling and magnetic shielding are available in select units.
Renaissance has designed a high power drop-in isolator for IFF transceiver application. Covering 1020 to 1040 MHz, this isolator has just 0.40 dB of insertion loss over -30 to +70 C while handling 100 W forward and reverse power levels.
Renaissance has released a new L-Band 4.5 kW peak power drop-in circulator operating from 1 to 1.12 GHz. With insertion loss of less than 0.2 dB and with return loss and isolation over 23 dB, the circulator is ideal to duplex an antenna with HPA and a receiver. This circulator has been customized to withstand 50 W of forward and 100 W of reverse power at the same instance without arcing or corona failures.
