Holzworth Instrumentation will showcase its new HSX Series Signal Generators at the IMS2015 exhibition in Phoenix.
The HSX Series RF synthesizers are broadband CW sources providing industry leading phase noise and spectral purity performance. Phase coherent channel options of 10 MHz to 6 GHz, 12 GHz and 20 GHz can be loaded in any combination within the 1U form factor at 1 to 4 independently tunable channels. The dynamic range is +20 dBm to -110 dBm with channel-channel isolation of better than -140 dBc.
Holzworth's RF synthesizer modules were originally designed as the internal tunable LO test sources for Holzworth phase noise analyzer products. Due to the need for easy integration, the HSM Series designs incorporate a long list of electrical and mechanical features to satisfy the demanding requirements of today's high performance communications systems and integrated test systems.

The Holzworth HS9000 Series multi-channel platform is designed to achieve optimal channel-to-channel stability across all integrated channel synthesizers via a conductively cooled, fan-less enclosure. Specific attention is paid to phase coherency between the independently controllable channels. The HS9000 allows the user to specify custom configurations for a COTS product. Units are loaded with anywhere from 1 to 8 channels.
The HA7402B phase noise analyzer is a compact and reliable phase noise analysis solution that was designed specifically to meet the need for a phase noise test system that not only has the fastest data acquisition times available and can measure the absolute lowest phase noise floors possible. The user simply supplies 2 frequency matched LOs.
Holzworth Instrumentation released a higher output power revision of their popular HSM Series 12.5 and 20 GHz RF synthesizer modules. The phase coherent HSM12001B (10 MHz to 12.5 GHz) and the HSM18001B (10 MHz to 20 GHz) are broadband CW sources which are ideal for use as radar system LOs, system clocks, integrated OEM modules, ATE and embedded systems, as well as benchtop applications.
The HA7062 is a fully integrated phase noise analyzer. It utilizes the same core engine from our model HA7402B along with a pair of HSM Series RF synthesizers. The stability of the agile synthesizers operating as LO sources for the high speed, cross-correlation core enables an extremely reliable phase noise analyzer.
