RFMW, Ltd. announces design and sales support for Scintera Networks SC1894 radio frequency power amplifier linearizer (RFPAL). As power amplifiers are driven into saturation they increase in both efficiency and distortion. The SC1894 injects a correction signal at the input of the PA in order to minimize distortion at the output of the PA. The result is higher output power from the PA and increased efficiency.

Model 30HM1G6AB-45 is a compact, wide-band, Class AB hybrid solid state power amplifier module that instantaneously covers 1 to 6 GHz. It operates from a single DC voltage and provides 48 dB of typical gain with excellent gain flatness, noise figure and low intermodulation distortion.

Spacek Labs model M80-5X2B is an E-band mixer covering the two radio bands of 71 to 76 GHz and 81 to 86 GHz. The mixer includes  an integrated LO doubler, so that the customer need only supply a 39 GHz source with +16 dBm of power. Spacek Labs can also supply a phase-locked source with the assembly. The conversion loss over the band is 6 dB typ and 10 dB max, with an IF frequency range of 2 to 8 GHz. The input P1dB is -6 dBm typ, and the bias is +12 VDC @ 10 mA.

PMI model number PIQ-85M18G-360/20-CD-2 is a vector modulator covering the frequency range of 85 MHz to 18 GHz. This unit provides an attenuator resolution of 0.08 dB and a phase shift resolution of 0.703125. The attenuation is phase invariant and the phase is amplitude invariant making it ideal for nulling unwanted signals. The unit can be specifically calibrated for any number of 100 MHz bands within the frequency range.

PMI Model No. P1T-9D25G-90-T-SFF is a high speed, solid state, single pole single throw switch capable of switching within 20 ns. The frequency range is 9.25 GHz (+/- 30 MHz) with > 90 Db of isolation.

PMI Model No. PE2-15-8G20G-4R0-20-SFF is a 8.0 to 20.0 GHz, low noise amplifier that provides 12 dB min of gain with a typical gain flatness of +/-1.25 dB. The noise figure is 4.0 dB typ and offers an OP1 dB of 20 dBm typ.  The operating voltage is +11 to +15 VDC and the current draw is 225 mA nom.

PMI Model No. PE2-30-1R06R0-1R5-22-12-SFF is a 1.0 to 6.0 GHz, low noise amplifier that provides 30 dB of gain typically.  The typical noise figure is 1.8 dB and offers an OP1 dB of 22 dBm typ.  The operating voltage is +12 to +15 VDC max and the current draw is 320 mA typ.

PMI Model No. PLN-17-110-15-LCA is a 1.0 to 10.0 GHz, low noise amplifier that typically provides 17 dB of gain.  The typical noise figure is 2.0 dB and offers an OP1 dB of 13 dBm min.  The operating voltage is +12 to +15 VDC and the current draw is 65 mA max.

PMI Model No. PE210R258R515SFFLM Rev. B is a 0.25 to 8.5 GHz, low noise amplifier with a small signal gain window of +9.0 to +13 dB.  The noise figure for this unit is <=4.5 dB max (valid from 0.5 to 8.5 GHz) and offers an OP1 dB of +16 dB min.  The operating voltage is +12 VDC and the current draw is 300 mA max.
