Mini-Circuits has teamed with Modelithics Inc. to develop high-accuracy simulation models of Mini-Circuits’ 3.2 x 1.6 mm case-size surface-mount LFCN low-pass filters and HFCN high-pass filters. The substrate-scalable models are validated up to 13 GHz, depending on the frequency band specifications of each filter.

Werlatone offers the Model C9688, a 40 dB dual directional coupler, covering the full 1 to 1000 MHz band. Rated at 800 W CW, the C9688 will operate into 3:1 Load VSWR, and is ideal for applications spanning multiple frequencies.

Custom MMIC has added two new low noise amplifiers, the CMD167 and the CMD167P3, to their growing product line. The CMD167 is a highly efficient, ultra low noise GaAs MMIC amplifier that operates from 10 to 17 GHz. The CMD167P3 is the packaged version of the amplifier which operates from 8 to 16 GHz.

RFMW Ltd. announces application and sales support for the Telemakus TEP4000-5 digital phase shifter. This laboratory quality phase shifter has a minimum phase range of 360 degrees with 12-bit, 0.25 degree resolution and operates over the bandwidth of 2 to 4 GHz. Maximum RF input for linear operation is +6 dBm but the device can handle up to +20 dBm. Typical insertion loss through the TEP4000-5 is only 5 dB.

Linear Technology Corporation introduces the LTC3874, a dual phase synchronous step-down slave controller that generates currents up to 300 A when paired with a companion master controller by extending the phase count in multiphase applications. Compatible master controllers include the LTC3866, LTC3875 and LTC3774, which all have true current-mode control.

AtlanTecRF launches its first ever comprehensive range of digitally controlled PIN attenuators. The ADA series covers frequencies from 500 MHz to 40 GHz in 17 models.

RFMW Ltd. announces design and sales support fortwo S-band power amplifiers from TriQuint. The TGA2583 and TGA2585 cover the frequency range of 2.7 to 3.7 GHz with 10 and 18 W of saturated output power respectively. Both TriQuint devices offer power added efficiency of 54% with a small signal gain of 33 dB.

Renaissance has released a new L-Band 4.5 kW peak power drop-in circulator operating from 1 to 1.12 GHz. With insertion loss of less than 0.2 dB and with return loss and isolation over 23 dB, the circulator is ideal to duplex an antenna with HPA and a receiver. This circulator has been customized to withstand 50 W of forward and 100 W of reverse power at the same instance without arcing or corona failures.
