Anokiwave, Inc. today announced the expansion of its family of Ka-band 5G ICs with the worldwide release of the first commercially available 39 GHz silicon active antenna quad core ICs for 5G communications markets.

For communication, radar and test applications, SAGE Millimeter has released a W-Band Varactor tuned Gunn oscillator. Model SOV-94306310-10-G1 utilizes a high-performance GaAs Gunn diode and proprietary cavity design to deliver +13 dBm typical power. The oscillator features a Varactor tuning range of ±3 GHz and delivers low AM/FM noise and harmonic emissions.

MECA expands its extensive power divider line to include a variety of multi-octave 2-Way Wilkinson power dividers which are optimized for excellent performance covering; 3.0 to 5.0 GHz (802-2-4.000-M01), 2.0 to 8.0 GHz (802-2-5.000) and 8.0 to 18.0 (802-2-13.000) with typical spec’s; Isolation 25 dB, VSWR’s 1.25:1, 0.3 dB Insertion Loss and Amplitude balance of 0.2 dB.

MECA’s newest 3-Way Wilkinson Power Divider has been optimized for excellent performance covering; 6.0 to 18.0 (P3S-12.000) with specifications such as; Isolation of 20 dB Min / 25 dB Typical, VSWR 1.4:1 Max, 0.7 dB Max Insertion Loss and Amplitude balance of 0.4 dB Max. All in a compact package of 1” x 1.5” x .4”

Rohde & Schwarz is extending the functional range of its R&S SMW200A vector signal generator to include the DVB-S2 satellite standard and its extension DVB-S2X. The R&S SMW200A with the new option provides a simple solution for testing components, devices and satellites that support these standards. It is said to be the first single-device solution on the market to generate DVB-S2/DVB-S2X signals not only as IF signals below 6 GHz but also on transmission frequencies in the Ku-Band and other microwave bands up to 40 GHz.
