Analog Devices Inc. introduced a breakthrough in switch technology that provides a long-sought replacement for electromechanical relay designs. The first in a product series, ADI’s ADGM1304 and ADGM1004 RF MEMS switches are 95 percent smaller, 30 times faster, 10 times more reliable, and use 10 times less power than conventional electromechanical relays.
Richardson RFPD Inc. announced the availability and full design support capabilities for an image reject mixer from Peregrine Semiconductor Corporation. The PE41901 is a passive, double-balanced Ku-band image reject mixer with high dynamic range performance and high local oscillator (LO) isolation capable of operation up to 19 GHz. It can be used as an upconverter or a downconverter. 
The VS-800 is the latest addition to our high frequency voltage controlled SAW oscillator (VCSO) family, packaged in a 5.0 x 3.2 x 1.8 mm3 making it the smallest ultra low-jitter VCSO available on the market. RFMW Ltd. announces design and sales support for a driver amplifier designed to support HPA implementation from 13 to 18 GHz and providing 2 W of saturated output power. The Qorvo TGA2958-SM is compatible with GaN HPA bias conditions allowing it to run from the same supply as the high-power amplifier. The TGA2958-SM, 3-stage driver, has a small signal gain of >25 dB yet draws only 70 mA of CW bias.

SemiGen has added a series of limiter diodes to its expanding product offerings, SLP7100 series. The SLP7100 limiter diodes are processed with a high-resistivity epitaxial wafer (epi) that has thin intrinsic layers. These devices are 2 to 20 microns thick and can be gold doped to achieve specific performance goals. The SLP7100 limiter diodes are used in passive or active limiter designs in the 100 MHz to 30 GHz frequency ranges.
