RFMW, Ltd. announces the availability of RF absorber material tuned to customer specific applications. These free samples are electrically tuned (optimized) to absorb unwanted RF emissions between 1 and 40 GHz based on design requirements provided by the user.  These magnetic “Tuned Frequency” absorbers are intended for specular reflection loss.

Linear Technology Corp. introduces the LTC3870, a dual phase synchronous step-down slave controller that can generate currents up to 240 A when paired with a companion master controller by extending the phase count in multiphase applications. Compatible master controllers include the LTC3880 and LTC3883 digital power system management controllers.

Agilent Technologies Inc. introduced its Infiniium Z-Series oscilloscopes, which can be synchronized to measure up to 40 channels simultaneously with a maximum 63-GHz real-time oscilloscope bandwidth (on up to 10 oscilloscopes). The new oscilloscopes enable engineers to effectively test devices that incorporate the newest technologies.

RFMW Ltd. announces application and sales support for high frequency oscillators and VCXO’s to 1500 MHz. These quartz-based, differential and PECL oscillators are targeted to networking and storage applications where fast delivery (less than one week) and high performance are required.

Crane Aerospace & Electronics Microwave Solutions announced the re-launched microwave space qualified products (MSQP) product line. This line offers a range of standard passive products including power dividers, hybrids, couplers and mixers. These products have been previously qualified to internally generated standards derived from industry standards.

SemiGen Inc. has announced that a series of microwave chip capacitors are now available from their RF Supply Center. Series 8000 capacitors offer a working voltage of >50 V and capacitance ranges from 2.0 pF to 600 pF. Series 8100 capacitors offer a working voltage of >100 V and capacitance ranges from 0.1 pF to 399 pF.

Integrated Microwave Corp. offers the 928103, a 914.5 MHz ISM bandpass filter. This filter is designed to reject interference to and from adjacent radio services, like the cellular radio band. This high-Q ceramic filter is designed using eight resonators that exhibit high Q (over 1000). The result is a compact filter that handles over 10 W CW, and has low insertion loss (5 dB max) considering its bandwidth.

Linear Technology Corporation announces the LT3048, a step-up DC/DC converter with an integrated LDO output that delivers a low noise, low ripple 15 V bias supply. The LT3048-15 delivers up to 40 mA of continuous output current at 15 V with output ripple and noise less than 500 µV_PK-PK and 0.1 % load regulation. The device operates from an input voltage range of 2.7 to 4.8 V, making it suitable for single-cell Li-Ion batteries or 3.3 V logic rails.
