Richardson RFPD Inc. announced the availability for a new solid state broadband high power amplifier from Empower RF Systems, Inc. The 2175/BBS2E4ARR  is suitable for multi-octave bandwidth, high-power continuous wave, modulated, and pulsed applications. It utilizes high-power LDMOS devices that provide wide frequency response, high gain, high peak power capability, and low distortions.

 Anritsu Co. breaks new ground in field wireless test with the introduction of the MW82119B PIM Master™, which combines a 40 W, battery-operated PIM analyzer with a 2 MHz to 3 GHz cable and antenna analyzer, eliminating the need to carry multiple instruments to measure the RF performance of a cell site.   It is MIL-STD-810G drop test rated and is designed to withstand transportation shock, vibration and harsh outdoor test conditions.

RFMW  Ltd. announces design and sales support for Skyworks SKY13453-385LF, a single-pole, double-throw (SPDT), high isolation switch built using SOI technology. The SKY13453-385LF operates over a frequency range of 10 MHz to 6 GHz and can handle up to 2 W of RF input power. Offering high linearity of 57 dBm IP3 and low insertion loss of 0.4 dB, this switch serves T/R functions in applications from white space through dual-band WLAN.

RFMW Ltd. announces design and sales support for two new Peregrine Semiconductor switches. Both the PE42542 and PE42543 are SP4T switches with operating bandwidth of 9 kHz to 18 GHz. Both switches are capable of handling 10 dBm of RF power at 9 kHz. DC power consumption for both the PE42542 and PE42543 is 120-microamps from a 2.3 to 5.5 V supply.

Richardson RFPD Inc. announced the availability and full design support capabilities for a new fast switching 2-bit RF digital step attenuator from Peregrine Semiconductor Corporation. The broadband PE43205 operates from 35 to 6000 MHz, covers an 18 dB attenuation range in 6 dB and 12 dB steps, with 29 ns switching time.

 KRYTAR, Inc., a leader in the design and production of ultra-broadband microwave components and test equipment announces a directional coupler, Model 181206. Offering superior performance over the 12.4 to 18 GHz frequency range Model 181206 delivers 6 dB (±0.5 dB) of nominal coupling (with respect to output) and frequency sensitivity of ±0.30 dB. Directivity is >15 dB.

Richardson RFPD Inc. announced the availability of two power limiter ICs from Peregrine Semiconductor Corporation. The PE45140 and PE45450 are HaRP™ technology-enhanced RF power limiters with symmetric RF ports that limit incident power up to 50 W.  They offer wideband frequency range, maximum power handling of +47 dBm pulsed (50 W) and +40 dBm CW (10 W).

Rogers’ rolled copper cladding options, including the RO3003™ high frequency circuit material, are ceramic-filled PTFE composites intended for use in commercial microwave and RF applications. RO3003 has excellent stability of dielectric constant over temperature including the elimination of the step change in dielectric constant. Additionally, RO3003 laminates exhibit a low dissipation factor of 0.0013 at 10 GHz.

The TGP2615 covers Ku-band radar and communications applications in the 15 to 19 GHz frequency range. 6-bit control with 5.625 degree least significant bit (LSB) offer high resolution and 360 degree coverage.
