RFMW Ltd. announces design and sales support for a driver amplifier designed to support HPA implementation from 13 to 18 GHz and providing 2 W of saturated output power. The Qorvo TGA2958-SM is compatible with GaN HPA bias conditions allowing it to run from the same supply as the high-power amplifier. The TGA2958-SM, 3-stage driver, has a small signal gain of >25 dB yet draws only 70 mA of CW bias.

RFMW Ltd. announces design and sales support for a high linearity amplifier from Amplifier Solutions Corporation (ASC). The ASC ASC520 provides a minimum of 33 dBm output power from 20 to 1200 MHz. Typical RF output power is 37 dBm to 550 MHz and 35 dBm from 550 to 860 MHz. Associated power gain is an extremely flat 22 dB. IP3, measured with 2 tones at +15 dBm/tone, is 52 dBm.

RFMW Ltd. announces design and sales support for a surface mount GaN power amplifier from Qorvo. The Qorvo TGA2830-SM offers 18 W of saturated output power from 2.7 to 3.5 GHz. Small signal gain is >30.5 dB and input return loss is rated at >11 dB. The TGA2830-SM draws 225 mA from a 20 to 32 V bias supply with >54% power added efficiency (PAE).

RFMW Ltd. announces design and sales support for a 2-stage low noise amplifier (LNA) with integrated bypass switch in the second stage. Operating from 1.5 to 3.8 GHz, the Qorvo TQL9065 provides 0.5 dB noise figure and up to 36 dB of gain through the internal amplifiers. When gain is not needed, the bypass switch automatically turns off the LNA for power savings.

RFMW Ltd. announces design and sales support for a low noise amplifier (LNA) with integrated bypass switch. Operating from 1.5 to 4 GHz, the Qorvo TQL9063 provides 0.7 dB noise figure and up to 19 dB of gain through the amplifier. When gain is not needed, a bypass switch is offered which automatically turns off the LNA for power savings.

RFMW Ltd. announces design and sales support for a 3-stage, high gain amplifier designed for ease-of-use in point to point radio systems. Featuring a frequency range of 9.5 to 12 GHz, the Qorvo TGA2760-SM offers 33 dB of gain from its 3-stage configuration. P1dB is up to 38 dBm while Psat is rated at 42 dBm. The TGA2760-SM is equipped with an integrated power detector and requires no external matching components.

Small signal gain is >31 dB and input return loss is rated at >9 dB. The TGA2975-SM draws 175 mA from a 20 to 32 V bias supply with >52% power added efficiency (PAE).

Custom MMIC has added an amplifier to its Broadrange Distributed Amplifier^TM portfolio, the CMD233C4. The 2 to 18 GHz distributed amplifier is a packaged version of the CMD233 die product. The CMD233C4 is a wideband GaAs MMIC distributed amplifier with a low noise figure of 4.5 dB and output 1 dB compression point of +20.5 dBm. This amplifier delivers over 9 dB of gain and operates from a single 3 to 6 volt supply.
