The TGA2597-SM offers 32 dB of saturated output power using a 25 V bias and drawing only 40 mA. This biasing voltage makes the TGA2597-SM compatible with TriQuint’s high power amplifiers

RFMW Ltd. announces design and sales support for TriQuint’s TGA2598-SM, a 33 dBm Psat GaN driver amplifier. The TGA2598-SM offers 25 dB small signal gain from two internal gain stages housed in a 4 x 4 mm, air-cavity ceramic QFN package. Covering 6 to 12 GHz, the TGA2598-SM offers >25% power added efficiency.

The TGA2583-SM and TGA2585-SM are designed using TriQuint’s production 0.25-μm GaN on SiC process. The new devices can operate under both pulse and continuous wave (CW) conditions, and both feature RF ports that are fully matched to 50 ohms.

Linear Technology Corp. introduces the LTM4623 3A µModule (micromodule) step-down regulator in an ultrathin 1.8 mm profile LGA package with only a 6.25 mm x 6.25 mm footprint.The LTM4623 operates from 4 to 20 V input supplies and precisely regulates an output voltage from 0.6 to 5.5 V with 1.5% maximum total DC output voltage error.
