Southwest Antennas introduced four new MIMO sector antennas to their existing line-up of directional antenna solutions. The four new MIMO sector antennas feature a wide 120° horizontal beamwidth, allowing for wide area coverage. Designed for 2 x 2 and 4 x 4 MIMO radio systems, two and four port versions of these sector antennas are offered in both 2.2 to 2.5 GHz S-Band and 4.4 to 5.0 GHz C-Band frequency options, for ISM/broadcast and law enforcement use.

Mini-Circuits has expanded the company’s offering of surface-mount couplers with a series of stripline-based models providing extremely high power handling in a miniature, low-profile printed laminate form factor. Model BDCH-35-272 is a bi-directional coupler which achieves 150 W RF power handling for applications from 700 to 2700 MHz including DAS, transmission signal monitoring, antenna reflection monitoring and more.

Analog Devices, Inc. announced a pair of high-performance GaN power amplifier (PA) modules which offer one of the highest power-density levels in their class, thus minimizing size and weight of the subsystem. The HMC7885 and HMC7748 broadband modules target applications operating between 2 GHz and 6 GHz, including test and measurement, communications, Traveling Wave Tube (TWT) replacement, military/aerospace surveillance and countermeasures and radar.

MACOM has added three PIN diode switches to its AlGaAs family. Utilizing its AlGaAs technology to meet these demanding challenges, MACOM has designed the MASW-011094, a Ka-Band high power terminated SPDT PIN diode switch, MASW-011029, a wideband SP3T PIN diode switch and the MASW-011087, a Ka-Band SP4T PIN diode switch.

RFMW Ltd. announces design and sales support for a 9 to 10 GHz, 35 W, GaN power amplifier targeted towards weather and marine radar applications.  The Qorvo TGA2622-SM provides a saturated output power of 45.5 dBm with 18 dBm input. Power added efficiency is >42% and large signal gain is 27.5 dB. For non-saturated applications, small signal gain is >30 dB.
