Richardson RFPD Inc. announced the availability and full design support capabilities for a UltraCMOS® SPDT RF switch from Peregrine Semiconductor Corporation. The PE42723 is a HaRP™ technology-enhanced reflective SPDT RF switch designed for use in cable applications, including DOCSIS 3.0/1 cable modem, set-top box and residential gateway. It delivers high linearity and excellent harmonics performance in the 5 to 1794 MHz band, as well as low insertion loss and high isolation performance.

Richardson RFPD Inc. announced the availability and full design support capabilities for a new UltraCMOS® quad MOSFET mixer from Peregrine Semiconductor Corporation. The PE4152 is a high-linearity quad MOSFET mixer with an integrated local oscillator (LO) buffer amplifier. The LO amplifier allows for LO input drive levels of less than 0 dBm to produce third-order intercept point (IIP3) values similar to a quad MOSFET array driven with a +15 dBm LO drive.

Richardson RFPD Inc. announced the availability and full design support capabilities for a 100 W continuous wave SPDT reflective switch from Microsemi Corporation. The MPS2R10-606 SPDT series-shunt PIN diode switch operates from 50 to 1000 MHz, with 500 ns switching speed. At 100 MHz, it typically offers 60 dB isolation, with 0.1 dB insertion loss and 28 dB return loss. At 500 MHz, it typically offers 55 dB isolation, 0.2 dB insertion loss, and 15 dB return loss.

DOC206218, Rev A is the latest Hi-Rel Standard to be added to our Space portfolio. This document replaces the legacy VX-509 with the model 5116 platform and enables customers to specify component pedigree and quality assurance requirements with a 15-digit catalog part number. This VCXO supports a 1 to 85MHz frequency range with typical phase noise performance of -167dBc/Hz at 100 kHz (16 MHz, +5 V).

RFMW Ltd. announces design and sales support for two Skyworks 75 ohm switches serving set top box (STB) applications. The SKY13547-490LF and SKY13548-385LF SPDT switches support both forward and reverse path applications for DOCSIS 3.0 and DOCSIS 3.1 with a frequency range of 5 to 1800 MHz. High linearity typifies these switches as well as low insertion loss (0.3 dB for the SKY13547-490LF and 0.4 dB for the SKY13548-385LF) and high input and output return loss of 20 dB.

Skyworks is pleased to introduce two SPDT 75 Ohm switches that are ideal for set-top box and DVR applications.  The SKY13547-490LF and SKY13548-385LF feature ultra-high linearity and meet the rigorous requirements of DOCSIS 3.0/3.1 applications. They also boast very low insertion loss and high power handling capability. Skyworks’ new switches are fully integrated and internally matched, reducing bill of material costs for customers. 

Z-Communications Inc. announces a RoHS compliant fixed frequency phase locked loop model RFS5900A-LF in the C-band. The RFS5900A-LF is a fully integrated synthesizer operating at 5900 MHz which is phase locked to a 10 MHz reference with a stability of ±2.5 ppm. This low cost PLL features a typical phase noise of -80 dBc/Hz, -85 dBc/Hz, and -103 dBc/Hz at the 1 kHz, 10 kHz and 100 kHz offsets, respectively.
