Mercury Computer Systems Inc. (www.mc.com), a trusted provider of commercially developed application-ready ISR and EW subsystems for defense prime contractors, announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Micronetics Inc. (www.micronetics.com), a leading designer and manufacturer of microwave and radio frequency (RF) subsystems and components for defense and commercial customers.
Mercury Computer Systems Inc. announced that it has received a contract from a major defense prime contractor to provide high performance digital signal processing modules and software to facilitate a technology refresh for the prime’s airborne radar application. The Mercury solution and subsequent refresh will also protect the prime’s significant investment in software development across a range of products.
