Skyworks introduces two global navigation low-noise amplifier front-end modules with integrated filters: the SKY65713-11 and SKY65715-81. Both solutions support products integrating GNSS functionality such as smartphones, personal navigation devices, wearables, machine to machine (M2M) systems, base stations, asset tracking instruments, professional radios and Internet of Things applications.

Anokiwave has added two devices (AWS-0104 / AWS-0105) to complete its family of X-band AESA core IC solutions for commercial radar and 5G communications markets. Each IC architecture in the family includes an integrated 4-channel beamformer, LNA and PA supporting 4 radiating elements. The ICs feature either a low noise figure or a high input linearity, and they are further divided by dual beam Rx/single beam Tx, or single beam Rx/single beam Tx.
Skyworks introduces the SKY81298 triple channel LED flash driver. The SKY81298 is optimized for LED flash applications implementing tri-tone flash LED color compensation, or dual rear LED flash, plus single front LED flash to support “selfie” pictures taken from the front-facing camera. The SKY81298 actively monitors battery/system voltage and reduces flash current automatically to avoid system brownout, allowing the flash to operate over a wider (lower) battery range.
Skyworks introduces two high power, surface mount, series connected PIN diodes suitable for high-power, high-volume, large signal switch and attenuator applications ranging from 10 MHz to beyond 6 GHz. Typical resistance for the SMP1331-085LF and SMP1331-087LF is 0.50 Ω at 100 mA is and the maximum capacitance is 0.35 pF at 30 V. The low capacitance, low parasitic inductance devices are ideal for use in land mobile radios and infrastructure systems.
SPINNER has introduced a new family of low PIM DC-breaks. Built with outdoor protection IP 67 these DC breaks are extremely durable, even under tough environmental conditions. With a broad frequency range of 380 to 2,700 MHz, -160 dBc IM3 and with separated inner and outer conductor, most mobile communication scenarios are featured. Richardson RFPD Inc. announced the availability and full design support capabilities for two Wi-Fi-integrated PA modules from Qorvo. The RFPA5522 and RFPA5542 are three-stage power amplifiers designed for 802.11a/n/ac applications. The integrated input and output 50Ω match greatly reduces the layout area, bill of materials and manufacturability cost in the customer application. The devices are manufactured on an advanced InGaP heterojunction bipolar transistor (HBT) process.
RFMW Ltd. announces design and sales support for XSYSTOR controller modules used for operation and protection of depletion mode transistors. Primarily designed for GaN devices, controllers like the 200X02R0 protect GaN transistors during the power On/Off sequence of internal and external voltage supplies. The 200X02R0 is an inverting controller. TTL enable for both gate and drain switching are independent or made sequential for stability purposes.
RFMW Ltd. announces design and sales support for Qorvo’s TGF2965-SM, 50 ohm, input-matched transistor. The TGF2965-SM offers 5 W of output power from 30 to 3000 MHz. Qorvo’s TGF2965-SM can be tuned for either power or efficiency and performance of both is exceptional. Typical PAE at 2 GHz is 63%. Linear gain is measured at 18 dB. Operating from a 32 V supply, this transistor is capable of both CW and pulsed performance.
