With Intercept’s Pantheon layout software, RF design is made easy with its flexible shape and fill creation and management, detailed stackup builder, 3D viewer, and automated via handling. Anritsu Company announces the availability of LTE Advanced Carrier Aggregation (CA) Measurement Software for its MT8820C RF tester, enabling analysis of leading-edge mobile devices incorporating the new ultra-fast technology evolution. The new option leverages the ParallelPhone Mode (PPM^TM) dual-RF capability of the MT8820C to simulate inter-band and intra-band downlink frequency domain duplex (FDD) CA with call processing.

A next generation, “size matters” 1 kW power amplifier from Empower RF Systems, already deployed at a customer site overseas, had its operating software and user interface successfully updated via a software patch that was downloaded from a secure web portal and installed with a USB drive inserted directly into the back panel of the amplifier.
