Pasternack now offers 107 unique amplifier modules all with varying performance characteristics.

Custom MMIC, a developer of performance-driven monolithic microwave integrated circuits (MMICs), is pleased to announce the release of the CMD218, a 5 to 9 GHz low noise amplifier (LNA) in die form. The CMD218 offers a gain of 22 dB, output of 1 dB, compression point of +19.5 dBm, and noise figure of less than 1.25 dB across the 5 to 9 GHz frequency range.

Richardson RFPD Inc. announced the availability and full design support capabilities for two 2.7 to 3.7 GHz packaged GaN power amplifiers from TriQuint. The TGA2583-SM and TGA2585-SM are designed using TriQuint’s production 0.25-μm GaN on SiC process. The new devices can operate under both pulse and continuous wave (CW) conditions, and both feature RF ports that are fully matched to 50 ohms.

Richardson RFPD Inc. announced the availability and full design support capabilities for a new four-stage E-band driver amplifier from M/A-COM Technology Solutions. The MAAM-011167 is a bare die power amplifier that operates from 71 to 86 GHz and provides 18 dB small signal gain. The input and output are matched to 50Ω with bond wires to external board.

RFMW Ltd. announces design and sales support for a 5 to 8 GHz GaN driver amplifier. The TriQuint TGA2599-SMoffers 2 W of output power with >23 dB of small signal gain. Using a 25 V bias and drawing only 50 mA, the TGA2599-SMis compatible with TriQuint’s high power amplifiers, easing the burden of multiple bias supplies.

RFMW Ltd. announces design and sales support for a family of linear output power amplifiers to support small cell and repeater applications. The Skyworks SKY660XX amplifiers meet the stringent spectral linearity requirements of WCDMA and offer high PAE and margin. The SKY660XX family requires minimum design time and board space as they are fully matched and run off a single DC supply voltage.

RFMW Ltd. announces design and sales support for the TGA2620-SM, TriQuint’s 16 to 18 GHz driver amplifier delivering 19 dBm Psat for commercial and military radar and 18 dBm P1dB for communication systems. Small signal gain is up to 20 dB. The TGA2620-SM draws only 30 mA from a 6 V bias supply.

RFMW Ltd. announces design and sales support for a dual channel digital variable gain amplifier. TriQuint’s TQC9311 offers the lowest noise figure for any currently available dual channel DVGA. The low noise figure of 3.8 dB makes the TQC9311 ideal for use before a mixer in small cell and DAS applications. Covering 0.4 to 3.6 GHz, the TriQuint TQC9311 complies with 1.8 or 3.3 V logic.

RFMW Ltd. announces design and sales support for NXP’s BGA6130, a single stage MMIC amplifier offering 1 W (30 dBm) output power. Driven from a single, 3.6 V supply, the BGA6130 draws only 70 mA of current. Typical gain is approximately 15 dB and efficiencies >55% are achievable. The NXP BGA6130 features a simple quiescent current adjustment allowing class AB operation.
