Hunter completes second major EMS assets acquisition in six months, provides tier one solutions, vertical integration

Hunter Technology Corp. announced its acquisition of the equipment and inventory assets of Spectral Response LLC (Lawrenceville, GA), an EMS supplier providing a broad range of product design and manufacturing solutions to electronics and RF OEM customers. This is Hunter’s second major acquisition in the past six months, following the purchase of assets of NBS Designs, Inc. (Milpitas, CA) last October.

Linear introduces 15 V, 2.25 MHz synchronous dual 600 mA step-down regulator

Linear Technology Corp.'s LTC3607 is a high efficiency, 2.25 MHz synchronous dual output buck regulator that incorporates a peak current mode architecture. It can deliver up to 600 mA of continuous output current from each channel at output voltages as low as 0.6V from a 3 mm x 3 mm QFN or a thermally enhanced MSOP-16 package. The LTC3607 accommodates an input voltage range of 4.5 V to 15 V, making it suitable for dual cell Li-Ion applications as well as 5 V and 12 V intermediate bus systems.
