Custom MMIC is pleased to announce the release of the CMD179, a fundamental mixer in die form. The CMD179 is a general purpose, double-balanced GaAs mixer that can be used for up- and down-converting applications between 16 and 26 GHz. The mixer, offers conversion loss of 7 dB, an LO to RF isolation of greater than 40 dB, an IF bandwidth of 8 GHz, and an input IP3 of +18 dBm.

RFMW Ltd. announces design and sales support for the TGA2612 from TriQuint. Optimized for performance from 6 to 12 GHz, the TGA2612 features >22 dB small signal gain with 20 dBm P1dB. Noise figure is <1.8 dB while OIP3 is an industry leading 29 dBm. To simplify system integration, the TriQuint TGA2612 is fully matched to 50 ohms with integrated DC blocking caps on both input and output ports.  

Anritsu Co. establishes a new standard in broadband performance with the introduction of the VectorStar™ ME7838D broadband system that provides industry-best frequency coverage of 70 kHz to 145 GHz in a single sweep using a coaxial test port. RFMW  Ltd. announces design and sales support for TriQuint’s  TAT7460B1A, linear, 75-ohm, CATV amplifier. Designed for use from 50 to 2600 MHz, the TAT7460B1A addresses CATV and Satellite bands in a single part. 17 dB of gain is available from this 5 V, 100 mA amplifier which offers noise figure of 3 dBm up to 1600 MHz.
