Linear Technology Corp. announces a military MP grade version of the LT3014B, a high voltage, micropower, low dropout regulator capable of delivering 20 mA output current. The LT3014B operates with a continuous input voltage range of 3 to 80 V and generates output voltages from 1.22 to 60 V with a low dropout of 350 mV

RFMW Ltd. announces design and sales support for the TGA2627-SM. This 32 dBm Psat GaN driver has a push-pull internal configuration that provides low harmonic content of <40 dBc over the 6 to 12 GHz frequency span. Small signal gain is rated at >27 dB. The TGA2627-SM is compatible with TriQuint’s high power amplifiers, easing the burden of multiple bias supplies.

RFMW Ltd. announces design and sales support for a 1.25 W driver amplifier serving radar, communication and test instrumentation applications from 2.7 to 4 GHz. The TriQuint TGA2731-SM contains an integrated attenuator and power detector. Self-biasing circuitry allows operation from a single, 6 V supply. The TGA2731-SM’s linear power gain is >24dB.

Linear Technology Corp. announces the LT8640, a 5 A, 42 V input capable synchronous step-down switching regulator. A unique Silent Switcher™ architecture, combined with spread spectrum frequency modulation, reduces EMI/EMC emissions by more than 25 dB even with switching frequencies in excess of 2 MHz, enabling it to easily pass the automotive CISPR25, Class 5 peak limits.

Analog Devices Inc. announced an integrated direct conversion receiver development platform for radar systems where reduced size, weight and power (SWaP) implementation is critical. The AD-FMCOMMS6-EBZ platform is a 400 MHz to 4.4 GHz receiver (1350 to 1650 MHz with installed filters) supporting the key L- and S-band frequency radar bands.
