Linear Technology Corporation introduces the LTM8045, a 2.8 to 18 V input, multi-topology DC/DC µModule® (micromodule) converter, with onboard inductor, power switch and DC/DC controller delivering up to 700 mA output current. The LTM8045 is designed for point-of-load regulation in communications, imaging and handheld test equipment.

Renaissance Electronics has designed a 6 x 6 programmable delay line (PDL) matrix that can be used to simulate phased array radar and antenna testing. Each of the 6 inputs is connected to dividers, programmable attenuators (91/1 dB) and a programmable delay line (10 bit, 5 ps step, DC - 3 GHz) internally. 

Renaissance's 3SLE2NAJ is a compact surface mount (0.394 sq-inch footprint) that covers 420 to 450 MHz. With a low insertion loss of 0.8 dB and isolation exceeding 15 dB over 0 to 55 C, it is ideal for short range PA system applications.

MITEQ introduces a new high reliability fiber optic transmitter with an operating bandwidth to 6 GHz.  Transmitter Model number HRT-50K6G-28-20-M14 has a noise figure of 12 dB and is available in three different optical wavelengths (1550, 1490, 1310 nm).  The operating temperature range is -40 to +85° C.

Crane Electronics offers products built using the unique Multi-Mix® stripline fabrication process. This provides the ability to provide very controlled dielectric properties surrounding the RF conductors resulting in predictable and controllable RF performance results. This process is ideal for complex routing circuits, multi-filter structures, beamformers and complex RF structures.

Linear Technology Corporation introduces the LTC4226, a dual Hot Swap™ controller, enabling safe board insertion into live 4.5 to 44 V backplanes. The LTC4226 controls external N-channel MOSFETs to gently power up the board, avoiding sparks, connector damage and system glitches. A dual rate fault timer protects the MOSFET and system from long or damaging overcurrents.

Linear Technology announces the LT3763, a synchronous buck LED driver controller that delivers over 300 W of LED power. Its 6 to 60 V input voltage range makes it ideal for a wide variety of applications, including automotive, industrial and architectural lighting. Similarly, its output voltage can be set from 0 to 55 V, enabling it to drive a wide range of LEDs in a single string.

FEKO Suite 6.2 introduces several completely new features to FEKO.  Characteristic mode analysis (CMA) is the numerical calculation of a weighted set of orthogonal current-modes that are supported on conducting bodies (similar to waveguide modes). The eigencurrents are independent of any specific source or excitation and thus only depend on the shape and size of the conducting body.

Anaren's family of tiny, ETSI-compliant and IC/FCC-certified RF transceivers -- based on Texas Instruments' low-power RF chips -- is the first Anaren product line to be added to the RS line card and supported through the company's designspark online community.
