For those engaged in R&D of next generation products, incorporating millimeter wave components into broader designs is facilitated by partnering with established industrial experts that have already spent decades in the design, development, and testing of such systems.
Renaissance has developed a new low cost, high power, drop-in isolator to protect expensive amplifiers from unwanted reflected power levels at S band frequencies. Covering 2.7 to 2.9 GHz, this isolator provides a VSWR of 1.25:1 at input and output ports with loss of 0.4 dB and isolation of 20 dB over -30 to +85 C.
HLNA Series of low noise amplifiers covers the frequency ranges from 20 to 100+ GHz. A wide variety of gain and bandwidth combinations are available to provide the designer with a solution for most applications. Custom designs are available and in many cases NRE is not required. MMIC technology is employed for high reliability and repeatability.
Renaissance has developed a new drop-in isolator to handle 15 W of reflected power in a compact size of 0.5” x 0.75” at X-Band frequencies. Covering 7.9 TO 8.4 GHz, this isolator provides a VSWR of 1.25:1 at input and output ports with loss of 0.5 dB and isolation of 20 dB over -40 to +85 C. It is specifically designed for Mobile Satellite architecture.
The HMPA and HHPA Series of Medium and High Power Amplifiers covers select bands from 20 to 100 GHz. A wide variety of gain and bandwidth combinations are available to provide the designer with a solution for most applications. Custom designs are available and in many cases NRE is not required.
Renaissance has developed a new X-Band iso-adapter that is designed for high rel applications requiring waveguide to coaxial transition. Operating between 8.2 to 12.4 GHz, the iso-adapter provides 0.5 dB of loss and 18 dB of reverse isolation. The output is WR90 for the waveguide interface with UG135/U flange. Input is a type N-Female connector.
Renaissance has developed a new solid state programmable attenuator that can be used to perform fading simulations. The device operates from DC - 3 GHz with 5.5 dB insertion loss and can attenuate 90 dB in 0.5 dB steps. The attenuator can handle 20 dBm over -40 to +85 C.
Renaissance has released a new S-band 2.5 kW peak power drop-in circulator operating from 2.9 to 3.3 GHz. With insertion loss of less than 0.6 dB and with return loss and isolation over 19 dB, the circulator is ideal to duplex an antenna with HPA and a receiver.
Renaissance Electronics has designed a new wideband Isolator, Model 2A3BAF-RoHS. This isolator operates over 950 to 1500 MHz with an 18 dB minimum isolation, 1.3:1 maximum VSWR and 0.4 dB maximum losses.
Renaissance has developed a new drop-in isolator to suppress mismatches in the receiver circuits at VHF band frequencies. Covering 420 to 450 MHz, this isolator provides a VSWR of 1.35:1 at input and output ports with loss of 0.7 dB and isolation of 18 dB over -40 to +85 C.
