Richardson RFPD Inc. announced the availability and full design support capabilities for five new power amplifiers for small cell applications from Skyworks Solutions, Inc. The five surface mount, +20 dBm linear output power amplifiers offer high gain, low power current consumption, low bill-of-materials count, ease of use, and a small footprint with input and output parts internally matched.

RFMW Ltd. announces design and sales support for the TQP9107 from Qorvo, the new company name for the merger of TriQuint and RFMD. With two stages of amplification, the TQP9107 offers 35.5 dB of gain with 31.4 dBm output power. Covering 700 to 960 MHz, the Qorvo TQP9107 serves small cell and repeater applications, DAS and booster amp applications for bands 5, 8, 12 and 13. Power added efficiency is rated at 31% with OIP3 of 46 dBm.

Model 2175, covering 80 to 1000 MHz and delivering 500 W of broadband output power in a 3U, air cooled chassis is now available and offering unrivaled size / power advantages.

Model SBP-8138632018-1212-S1 is an E-Band high power amplifier with small signal gain of 20 dB minimum and P1dB of +18 dBm in the frequency range of 81 to 86 GHz. The DC power requirement for the amplifier is +8 VDC/650 mA. The input and output port configurations are both WR-12 waveguides with UG387/U flanges.

RFMW Ltd. announces design and sales support for a 35 W GaN power amplifier designed for weather and marine radars in the X-band (9 to 10 GHz). TriQuint’s TGA2622-CP offers power added efficiency of >43%. Operating from a 28 V supply, it draws only 290 mA. The TGA2622-CP offers high power in both pulse and CW operation thanks, in part, to TriQuint’s Cu-base packaging offering superior thermal management.

RFMW Ltd. announces design and sales support for the TriQuint TGA2621-SM, a multi-stage GaAs power amplifier for Radar and SatCom applications. The TGA2621-SM offers saturated output power of >30 dBm with a small signal gain of over 24 dB. Used as a final stage or driver for higher power amplifiers, the TriQuint TGA2621-SM draws 500 mA from a 6 V supply and offers >23% PAE

Custom MMIC, a developer of performance-driven monolithic microwave integrated circuits (MMICs), is pleased to announce the release of the CMD219, a 4 to 8 GHz low noise amplifier (LNA) in die form, to their growing line of standard GaN amplifier products. The CMD219 has a gain of 23 dB, an output 1 dB compression point of +18 dBm, and a noise figure of 1.1 dB across its operating bandwidth.

Model SBL-0524034260-KFKF-SB is a bench-top broadband low noise amplifier operating from 0.5 to 40 GHz. The amplifier exhibits 42 dB small signal gain and average 6 dB noise figure over the entire frequency range. The minimum P-1 dB is +10 dBm. The bench-top amplifier is designed to use 100 to 240 V AC power directly from lab outlets.

PMI Model No. PUC-4G18G-CD-1 is an amplified up/down converter for the frequency range of 4.0 to 18.0 GHz, with an IF range of 10 to 100 MHz.  It features a 32 dB programmable attenuator with 10-bit resolution and an output amplifier to provide conversion gain.  It also features an IF transfer switch to select the upper or lower sideband.

PMI Model No. PE2-30-20G20R6G-3R0-10-12-SFF is a 20.0 to 26.5 GHz, low noise amplifier. This amplifier is supplied in our standard PE2 housing that can be used as a SMA connectorized or a surface mount component.
