VNA Frequency Extenders

Providing dynamic range up to 120 dB, the STO series of VNA frequency extenders from Eravant occupy dimensions of 1.9 × 3.0 × 11.5 in. They enable VNA measurements at frequencies up to 330 GHz. Their reach extends beyond the commonly recognized frequency limits of standard waveguide sizes to fully cover many of the bands allocated for radar and communication systems. Contactless Waveguide Adapters

One of the challenges of operating any VNA is to properly connect calibration standards and tested devices to the VNA test ports. When the test ports are waveguides, the challenges are compounded by the need to carefully engage and tighten waveguide screws. Proxi-FlangeTM contactless waveguide flange adapters from Eravant can eliminate the need for waveguide screws, greatly lowering the hurdles encountered when working with VNAs at waveguide frequencies.
