Rosenberger has launched the High-Power Super Speed Data (HPD®) series – a universal applicable multicore datalink connection system for high data rate transmission up to 10 Gbps, combined with high ampacity (up to 100 W/ 5 A).
The robust, fully shielded connector system qualifies the interface for rough environmental conditions as in automotive electronics. The newly developed special multicore cable is characterized by low attenuation values and provides an almost interference and crosstalk free performance. The use of only one connector for both data and power enables installation space reduction as well as cost reduction.
Rosenberger HPD connectors can also be applied e.g. in USB 2.0 and USB 3.1-ports, display ports, high power charging, power delivery, board-to-board communication systems, for devices such as displays, smartphones, tablets or even notebooks.
The product spectrum consists of PCB connectors, straight and right angle, as well as cable assemblies, while custom-specific versions are available on request.
