Texas Instruments Inc. (TI) and Sub10 Systems, a manufacturer of point-to-point millimetre wave radio links, announced their collaboration on a differentiated and future-proof  backhaul solution for small cell base stations.

ZTE Corp., a global provider of telecommunications equipment and network solutions, has selected the KeyStone multicore System-on-Chips (SoCs) from Texas Instruments Inc. (TI) for its small cell base station products. TI's KeyStone SoCs are programmable multicore processors which enable ZTE to develop wireless base stations capable of concurrently supporting multiple 3G and 4G air interface standards.

Texas Instruments Inc. (TI) and 6WIND announced support within the 6WINDGate^™ software solution for TI’s new scalable 28-nm multicore processors based on its recently announced KeyStone II multicore architecture. By providing a comprehensive, pre‐integrated suite of packet processing software, 6WINDGate eliminates the need for TI’s customers to invest their engineering resources into combining discrete protocols from multiple sources and/or designing custom optimizations.
