CTS Corp., through its subsidiary, CTS Electronic Components, Inc. is unveiling a series of Stratum 3 performance temperature compensated crystal oscillators (TCXOs) at International Microwave Symposium (IMS) in Phoenix, Ariz. at Booth #2930, May 19-21, 2015. The new product increases stability and lower phase noise and is ideal for base stations, small cells, 1588 and synchronous Ethernet timing, wireless communications, test and measurement.
CTS new TCXOs deliver quality performance to meet Stratum 3 requirements and provide added benefits. The device enhances temperature stability to ±0.28 ppm over -40° to +85°C while reducing phase noise to -156 dBc/Hz at 100 kHz offset from the carrier. Combination of features and option are available to meet specific design needs such as clipped sinewave or HCMOS output type, 10 pad or 4 pad design, 7.0 x 5.0 mm or 5.0 x 3.2 mm surface mount footprint and voltage control option for frequency tuning. In addition, the series is fully RoHS compliant.
