New VPG ultra-high-precision Z1-foil wrap-around chip resistors tested per EEE-INST-002 and MIL-PRF-55342
Vishay Precision Group Inc. announced that its Vishay Foil Resistors brand (VFR) has introduced a new series of military-qualified, ultra-high-precision Z1-Foil wrap-around chip resistors. Tested per EEE-INST-002 (Tables 2A and 3A, Film/Foil, Level 1) and MIL-PRF-55342, devices in the 303261 - 303266 seriesprovide exceptional load-life stability of ±0.0025% typical after rated power at 70°C for 2,000 hours, low nominal TCR of ±0.2 ppm/°C from -55°C to +125°C, +25°C ref., PCR (ΔR due to self heating) of 5 ppm at rated power, and tight tolerances to ±0.02%.

Integrated Microwave Corp. offers a high-frequency true elliptic function highpass filter. This small-profile filter offers a nominal passband insertion loss of 0.7 dBa at 5.2 to 13 GHz. This superior rejection provides 20 dB at 4.9 GHz, and -40 dB nominal DC to 4.8 GHz, with a 3 dB cutoff at 5.15 GHz. Performance is comparable to a suspended substrate, but at one-quarter the size and cost.
