Centellax announced the release of its new low-cost LiNbO3 quad Input 32 Gbaud linear modulator driver amplifier for DP-16QAM applications.
Aeroflex Inc. announced the POCSAG testing option for the 3920 Series Digital Radio Test Set. With this option, the 3920 Series can now be used to verify the operation of POCSAG pagers and paging systems.
Tektronix Inc. announced the lowest cost real-time spectrum analyzer for mid-range performance, featuring the industry’s most advanced signal discovery and triggering capabilities: the RSA5000 Real-Time Spectrum Analyzer Series.
Eastern OptX, specialists in fiber optic delay lines for RF and microwave test applications, announced the commercial availability of the Series 7000 Multi-Radio Channel Replicator, a multi-radio test system that replicates the propagation path of real-world applications. The Series 7000 is used by the radio communications industry to design, produce, qualify, and verify interoperability of radio systems.
DragonWave Inc., a leading global supplier of packet microwave radio systems for mobile and access networks, announced it has concluded field tests and confirmed the functionality of higher modulation modes of up to 2048 QAM on its Horizon packet microwave products. The field tests were conducted in Odessa, Ukraine, the nation’s south Bay City.
Agilent Technologies Inc. announced that it will demonstrate test and measurement solutions in coherent communication at ECOC (Amsterdam RAI, Hall 1, Stand 712) in Amsterdam, Sept. 17-19.
Agilent Technologies Inc. introduced the world’s fastest vector signal generator in a PXI form factor. The Agilent M9381A is a 1-MHz to 3- or 6-GHz VSG that combines fast switching and excellent RF parametric performance.
Elcom’s UFS‑18 low phase noise, coherent frequency synthesizer can now provide wideband coherent chirp waveforms at frequencies up to 18 GHz. Modulation bandwidth of ±100 MHz is possible.
Aeroflex Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Aeroflex Holding Corp., announced that it has added IEEE 802.11ac capability to its S-Series RF signal generator and analyzer product line. First introduced in 2010, the S-Series offers top-of-the-range performance at a mid-range price.
DragonWave Inc., a leading global supplier of packet microwave radio systems for mobile and access networks, announced the availability of higher modulation modes of up to 2048 QAM on its Horizon packet microwave products. This higher modulation allows the radios to transport up to 37 percent more data through existing microwave channels, which significantly improves spectral efficiency and, correspondingly, lowers operators' cost per bit.
