The LMS-183DX is a USB Programmable Signal Generator with a frequency range of 6.0 to 18.0 GHz. This unit offers a 100 Hz frequency step size, configurable linear frequency sweeping and 0.5 dB power control steps.

Capable of bidirectional fixed attenuation, swept attenuation ramps, and fading profiles, the Vaunix LDA-602Q four port programmable attenuator provides up to 120 dB of control range with a 0.1 dB step size from 200 MHz to 6 GHz. Each of four RF ports of this device has a 50 Ohm impedance.

Vaunix Technology Corp., a manufacturer of USB controlled and powered test equipment, recently added a programmable digital attenuator to their LDA family of PC-driven Lab Bricks, the LDA-602EH. The LDA-602EH has a large attenuation range of 120 dB with an exceptional 0.1 dB step size, allowing for both precision and accuracy during fading tests or device characterizations. This attenuator also features a fast 15 µs switching speed.

Vaunix Technology Corp. added a signal generator to their family of Lab Bricks, the LMS-183DX. This product covers a frequency range of 6 to 18 GHz in a rugged, portable, palm-sized package. The LMS-183DX has a power control range of 80 dB, +10 to -70 dBm, from the 6 to 13 GHz frequency range and a power control range of 65 dB, +10 to -55 dBm, from the 13 to 18 GHz frequency range. This unit typically operates with a voltage stand wave ratio (VSWR) at 1:4:1 (2.0:1 maximum).

Vaunix Technology Corp. will be debuting two test applications, the LDA-203 and the LMS-802DX. The LDA-203 is a digital attenuator with an operating frequency of 1 to 20 GHz. It features a 0 to 63 dB attenuation range and a step size resolution of 0.5 dB. Cost is $1,199. The LMS-802DX is one of a new series of Lab Brick portable signal generators. Covering 2 to 8 GHz it boasts an internal and external pulse modulation width as low as 100 ns and an output power of +10 to -70 dBm.

The LDA-203 is a digital attenuator with an operating frequency of 1 to 20 GHz. It features a 0 to 63 dB attenuation range and a step size resolution of 0.5 dB. This model is powered and controlled by connection to a PC or self-powered USB hub, and is programmable for fixed attenuation.

Vaunix has announced the addition of a new 75 ohm model to their family of LDA series digital attenuators. The LDA-102-75F has input power of up to 1 W, attenuation range to 95 dB, and offers frequency coverage of 10 to 1000 MHz. This unit is powered and controlled by connection to a PC or self-powered USB hub, and is programmable for fixed attenuation or swept attenuation ramps directly from the included graphical user interface (GUI) software.

Vaunix family of LDA series digital attenuators offer attenuators with up to 120 dB of programmable attenuation through 6000 MHz. The LDA-102E and LDA-602E both have input power handling of up to 2 W.
