The 153 Series operates in the DC to 40 GHz frequency range and is available in 0 to 70 dB in 10 dB steps and 0 to 110 dB in 10 dB steps. Other features include low insertion loss and excellent repeatability, life of 5 million operations, compact rugged construction and light weight.
These Coaxial Attenuators operate over the dc-40 GHz and are capable of handling up to 2 W for Model 54A and 20 W average for Model 89 and up to 200 W peak. Model 54A is available in 3, 6, 10, 20, 30 dB while Model 89 is available in 10, 20 and 30 dB.
Aeroflex / Weinschel offers a series of 6 GHz relay switched programmable attenuators (Models 3406 & 3408) are specifically designed for wireless/cellular, RF simulation/emulation & communication test applications. This series is available in many standard attenuation ranges and cell configurations (0 to 55 / 1 dB, 0 to 103/1 dB and 0 to 55.75 / 0.25 dB).
Aeroflex/Weinschel’s 8310 and 8311 series programmable attenuator units represent a new concept in programmable attenuation for bench test and subsystem applications. Standard 8310 series designs house and control various Aeroflex/Weinschel programmable attenuator Models (3200T, 150T, and 4200 Series) via front panel controls or standard communications interfaces including GPIB (IEEE- 488) and RS-232/RS-422 /RS485.
This catalog outlines Aeroflex / Weinschel's wide range of RF, wireless, & microwave components and subsystems that operate over the dc to 40 GHz frequency range. Product lines include programmable step attenuators including PIN, FET, relay and edge-line technologies, and more.
Aeroflex / Weinschel’s 980 series of mechanical phase shifters allow for nominally linear phase adjustments over the dc to 12 GHz frequency range (depending on model). Each unit contains a internal self-locking mechanism that eliminates the need for a locking nut which is ideal for phase trimming in densely packaged systems with minimum accessibility.
This New low cost design offers two new designs that operate from dc-26.5 GHz and dc-40 GHz. These designs are available in standard attenuation ranges of 0-9 dB in 1 dB steps (9012-9 & 9015-9) and 0-70 dB in 10 dB steps (9012-70).
Aeroflex/Weinschel’s Model 4201-63 MMIC digital attenuator operates over the 0.4 to 6 GHz frequency range and provides an attenuation range from 0 to 63 dB in 1 dB increments. This attenuator has excellent repeatability and performance with built-in TTL interface.
Aeroflex / Weinschel offers a series of 6 GHz relay switched programmable attenuators that are specifically designed for wireless/cellular, RF simulation/emulation & communication test applications. Other features include choice of attenuation ranges and steps (0 to 55 / 1 dB, 0 to 103/1 dB and 0 to 55.75 / 0.25 dB).
Aeroflex / Weinschel”s series of phase compensated GaAs switched solid-state programmable attenuators (Model 4246 & 4248) are specifically designed for wireless/cellular, RF simulation/ emulation & communication test applications. The incremental relative phase for these unit is ±5° between 0 and.25, 1, 2, 4, 8, 16 dB and ±10° between 0 and 32, 48 dB.
The Aeroflex/Weinschel PLANAR CROWN & reg; universal connector system incorporates design and application features that eliminate the technical, electrical and economical drawbacks of standard bulkhead connectors, connector savers, cable connectors and adapters.
This line of intelligent programmable step attenuators with a built-in digital interface are designed to simplify the control and integration of these devices into subsystem and bench applications. This series of programmable step attenuators is designed for use in automatic test equipment and OEM systems operating in the dc to 6 GHz frequency range. These models are available in many standard attenuation ranges and cell configurations.
This specialized subsystem is used to simulate the connectivity between a mobile unit running along a line of 3 base stations spaced from 250 to 1000 meters apart. The test subsystem is able to simulate the variation of the RF signal from the base stations reaching the mobile when the mobile is moving at speeds of up to 250 km/h.
Aeroflex Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Aeroflex Holding Corp., announced that it has added IEEE 802.11ac capability to its S-Series RF signal generator and analyzer product line. First introduced in 2010, the S-Series offers top-of-the-range performance at a mid-range price.
