When network operators upgrade to LTE they want to take full advantage of their new and existing resources, so to support this objective, Rohde & Schwarz has added MIMO-specific measurements to its R&S ROMES4.65 drive test software. Using this feature, the R&S TSMW network scanner can quickly identify interferers that reduce MIMO performance in LTE networks.

Rohde & Schwarz is taking a completely new approach to measuring radiated spurious emissions on LTE devices, making it considerably easier for users to measure RSE in the presence of LTE carrier power. The solution is the R&S OSP open switch and control platform equipped with the new R&S OSP-B155 option.
