Narda, an L-3 Communications company, introduced the Model 4572B phase trimmer, which provides a fixed amount of phase shift for electrically adjusting the length of coaxial cables between two devices.
The Model 4572B provides phase adjustment of ±2° between 3 and 18 GHz with linearity of ±2° from 3 to 12.4 GHz and ±5° from 12.4 to 18 GHz. The rugged device weighs only 19 g and measures 1.6 in. long (with connectors) by 0.32" diameter. It can handle 30 W CW and has an operating temperature range of -54° to +100°C. Maximum VSWR is 1.35:1. The Model 4572B phase trimmer is available from Narda for immediate delivery.
