The IMS 2013 Exhibition takes place June 4-6 at the Washington State Convention Center in Seattle.

* Power Amplifiers
API Technologies' line of high power amplifier solutions include advanced semiconductor technologies such as GaN, GaAs, and LDMOS. Ultra broadband amplifiers are designed for use in electronic warfare, RCIED countermeasures, and national security jammer applications where the use of rugged and highly reliable power amplifiers is essential. API's innovative power amp designs and high quality products are a direct result of working closely with key defense companies to meet their strict technical specifications and quality requirements. * Microelectronics Solutions
API offers a variety of services and technologies for providing state-of-the-art microelectronic solutions, including mixed signal & power, RF & millimeter wave (MMW), optoelectronics & LED illumination, thin film and thick film, high density packaging, as well as the latest in SAW technology. Additionally, expert engineers from API are available to help design and manufacture custom assemblies, hybrids & MCMs, MIL-PRF-38534 Class H, and Class K, and databus solutions, or build to print solutions. API also works with existing circuit designs to create microelectronic solutions from prototype through full qualification.
* Integrated Microwave Assemblies (IMAs)
As a world-class leader in component design and system integration, API Technologies provides high performance Integrated Microwave Assemblies (IMAs) for a range of defense-related system applications including electronic warfare and radar-based applications. API's IMAs are designed using their award-winning amplifier, filter, mixer and switch components to produce small and lightweight subsystems specifically geared for next generation system needs, starting at DC-40 GHz.
API develops oscillator-based IMA solutions including ultra low phase noise and fast switching synthesizers, low signal degradation frequency multipliers with flat frequency response, frequency activity detectors, and upconverters/downconverters that feature an optional dual channel frequency converter with a tunable synthesized local oscillator (LO), popular in many airborne applications.
Signal conversion IMA solutions from API utilize technologies including frequency multipliers; digital frequency discriminators (DFDs) which are available in either specific frequency bands or full 2-18 GHz coverage; high speed instantaneous frequency measurement receivers (IFMs) which utilize discrimination, channelization, or a combination of both; and switchable multi-channel amplifiers.
* Filters & Switched Filter Banks
API designs and manufactures some of the most challenging RF & microwave filters in the industry today. Filter topologies include lumped element, cavity, tubular/coaxial, ceramic, suspended substrate, SAW, and waveguide. API filters are available off-the-shelf or as custom designs for use in public safety products, wireless and broadband communication services, and major defense and space applications.
API applies its extensive filter and switch design expertise to develop switched filter banks that reduce the overall mechanical footprint and improve performance. By optimally aligning the filters to the switches, integrated switched filter assemblies offer improved Voltage Standing Wave Radio (VSWR), less passband variation, lower insertion loss, and high reliability.
* High Performance Amplifiers
API's expertise in amplifier technologies guarantees ultra low phase and improved spurious signal suppression making them ideally suited for receiver applications in radars and military communications. In addition, high linearity characteristics enable these amplifiers to achieve incredible performance including IP2 values of +120dBm, while high dynamic range allows for the reception of large input signals without distorting the amplifier output.
* Active and Passive RF Components
At IMS, API Technologies will highlight its diverse line of active RF components, including a high performance hybrid mixer line, high isolation broadband switches, RF limiting amplifiers, digital and voltage variable attenuators, analog and threshold detectors, and Transmit/Receive (T/R) modules.
