The 2006 IEEE Radio Frequency Integrated Circuits Symposium (RFIC 2006) brings focus to the technical accomplishments in RF systems, circuit, device and packaging technologies for mobile phones, wireless communication systems, broadband access modems, radar systems and intelligent transport systems.

It builds upon its heritage as one of the foremost IEEE technical conferences dedicated to the latest innovations in RFIC development of wireless and wire line communication ICs, with an exciting technical program. Running in conjunction with the International Microwave Symposium (MTT), the RFIC Symposium adds to the excitement of Microwave Week with three days focused exclusively on RFIC technology and innovation.

The workshops begin Sunday morning, June 11th, followed by the Plenary Session at 5:30 PM. Three students will be recognized for their work as part of the best student paper competition. Three leading experts will then share their own views during the Sunday evening plenary session. The RFIC reception will follow the plenary session allowing everyone to relax and discuss the industry outlook among friends. The regular technical program begins on Monday and Tuesday featuring invited and submitted technical papers.

Technical sessions:

· Cellular system ICs and architectures
