EDI CON China 2016 achieves record attendance

EDI CON China 2016 took place April 19-21 in Beijing at the China National Convention Center (CNCC). Continuing on a strong trajectory of growth, EDI CON China achieved a 35 percent increase in attendees and 32 percent increase in exhibition space over 2015. This year’s conference included partnerships with the China Radar Industry Association Conference and EMC China Conference/Exhibition.

Record-breaking 904 booths take the floor at IMS2015

The IEEE MTT-S 2015 International Microwave Symposium (IMS) welcomed a record-breaking 904 booths from 620 exhibitors to the show floor opening Tuesday, May 19 at 9 a.m. as part of IMS2015 May 17-22 at the Phoenix Convention Center. IMS, the annual conference and exhibition of the IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society (MTT-S),is the premier international meeting for technologists involved in all aspects of microwave theory and practice. The symposium last visited Phoenix in 2001.

National Instruments reports record revenue and net income for 2014

National Instruments (NI) announced Q4 revenue of $333 million, up 11 percent year-over-year. The company's total orders were up 13 percent for the quarter with orders under $20,000 up 5 percent year-over-year; orders between $20,000 and $100,000 up 13 percent year-over-year; and orders above $100,000 up 36 percent year-over-year. In Q4 2014, NI recognized $7 million in revenue from its largest customer, compared with $4 million recognized in Q4 2013.
