Silicon Labs announced a new family of secure, ultra-low-power Zigbee® system-on-chip (SoC) devices designed for eco-friendly IoT products deployed in mesh networks. The EFR32MG22 (MG22) family expands Silicon Labs’ Zigbee portfolio by delivering the smallest, lowest power SoCs optimized for Zigbee Green Power applications. Based on Silicon Labs’ Wireless Gecko Series 2 platform, the MG22 SoCs are an ideal choice for Zigbee devices powered by coin cell batteries or energy-harvesting sources. Target applications include smart home sensors, lighting controls, and building and industrial automation.
Silicon Labs introduced a family of jitter-attenuating clocks that simplifies 100G/400G coherent optical line card and module design by providing a high-frequency, flexible clocking solution that significantly reduces system-level cost and complexity. Silicon Labs’ new Si534xH coherent optical clocks replace discrete timing solutions that rely on expensive, large-footprint voltage-controlled SAW oscillators (VCSOs) to provide low-jitter reference timing for data converters. Unlike VCSOs that support single, fixed frequencies, the new Si534xH clocks operate over a wide frequency range, supporting frequencies up to 2.7 GHz without the need to change bill-of-material (BOM) components.
Silicon Labs introduced a new family of multi-channel digital isolators featuring a high-voltage isolation barrier designed to withstand 10 kV surge hits. The new Si86xxxT digital isolator family provides robust protection against secondary lightning strikes and increases system reliability in a wide range of demanding industrial applications.
Silicon Labs introduced the industry’s highest-performance, most cost-effective packet network synchronizer clock. The new Si5348 clock IC combines best-in-class jitter performance with the industry’s smallest footprint and lowest power in a highly integrated, standards-compliant solution.
Silicon Labs, a leading provider of broadcast video solutions for the television market, introduced its next-generation digital TV demodulator family offering expanded support for the latest satellite, terrestrial and cable standards.
Silicon Labs, a leading provider of wireless connectivity solutions for the Internet of Things, introduced next-generation EZRadio® and EZRadioPRO® wireless ICs offering industry-leading power efficiency, wireless range and flexibility.
Silicon Labs, the leading provider of silicon TV tuners, introduced the sixth generation of its high-performance, field-proven TV tuner ICs. Silicon Labs’ new Si2151 and Si2141 TV tuners address the global hybrid TV and digital TV markets, support both digital and analog video broadcasts and comply with all worldwide terrestrial/cable TV standards.
Silicon Labs, a leader in high-performance, analog-intensive, mixed-signal ICs, introduced the industry’s smallest PCI Express (PCIe) compliant clock generator targeting consumer and embedded applications where reliability, board space, component count and power consumption are critical design factors.
Silicon Labs, a leader in high-performance, analog-intensive, mixed-signal ICs, launched an online timing utility that eases the complexity of designing clock trees for a wide range of Internet infrastructure applications including high-speed networking, telecommunications and data center equipment.
