PMI Model No. PSD-2G6G-CD-1 is high power, switch box assembly that provides protection to front-end receivers when in the presence of high power signals.  This is accomplished by sensing the input signal level and then switching the input signal into 50 ohms terminations when a set threshold level is exceeded.  This assembly operates from 2.0 to 6.0 GHz and can handle input power levels up to 10 W CW.

PMI Model No. LM-18G40G-18-1W-292FF is an ultra-high speed, millimeter wave, high power RF limiter that operates over the frequency range of 18.0 to 40.0 GHz.  This limiter can handle input power levels up to 1 W CW and provides a leakage output power of +18 dBm maximum and +12 dBm typical.

PMI Model No. P8T-2G6G-90-T-55-SFF is a high speed, single pole, eight throw, absorptive switch that operates over the frequency range of 2.0 to 6.0 GHz.  This switch offers very-high isolation of 97 dB typical while maintaining a typical fast switching speed of 30 ns.  The operating input power rating is +23 dBm CW with an insertion loss of 3.5 dB.

PMI Model No. PEC3-40-1D6G2D7G-15LM-SFF is a limiting amplifier that operates over the frequency range of 1.6 to 2.7 GHz and offers a limited output of 15 dBm  ± 2 dBm.  The saturated power frequency flatness is ±1.5 dB maximum with a gain of 35 dB minimum and a typical noise figure of 4.5 dB.  The 2nd harmonic rejection is 24 dBc typically with an OIP3 of +18 dBm typical.

Skyworks Solutions Inc. has introduced a surface mount limiter diode for receiver protection applications.  The CLA4608-085LF is a low capacitance silicon PIN limiter diode designed for high power applications ranging from 10 MHz to over 6 GHz.  Maximum resistance at 10 mA is 1.2 Ω and maximum capacitance at 38 V is 0.65 pF.
