While the 25-volt version typically operates to 35 GHz with an insertion loss < 1.2 dB, the 50-volt version’s operating frequency range has been extended to 50 GHz, with a typical maximum insertion loss < 1.2 dB. These capacitors are intended primarily for coupling RF signals or, occasionally, for bypassing them to ground, while blocking DC.

Skyworks introduces a single-pole, double-throw (SPDT) switch that is qualified to the Automotive Electronics Council (AEC) Q100 standard. The SKYA2001 features low insertion loss (0.4 dB at 2.4 GHz) and positive voltage operation with very low DC power consumption (10 µA). Its AEC-Q100 qualification supports extended production life requirements. The device is manufactured in an ultraminiature 2.00 x 1.25 mm, 6-pin SC-70 package.
