RFMW Ltd. announces design and sales support for Peregrine Semiconductor’s PE42920 dual differential SPDT switch operating from 10 kHz to 6 GHz. The PE42920 targets test and measurement applications where two independent differential signals are required to be switched. Having both switches in a small, 3 x 3mm QFN package saves both board space and BOM cost as well as improving performance.
Operating from a single 3.3 V supply, the Peregrine DDSPDT uses only 100 microamps in typical operation. Yet, this switch has 30 dB of isolation between opposite active channels and 26 dB isolation between same channel inputs at 6 GHz. With a fast switching time of 270 nS and IIP3 of 50 dBm, the PE42920 also finds applications as a general purpose differential RF switch.
