Anritsu Co. introduces a Vector Voltmeter Mode (VVM) for its Microwave Site Master™ S820E - the world's only handheld cable and antenna analyzer offering coverage up to 40 GHz – that allows the S820E to be used as a drop-in replacement for legacy Vector Voltmeter instruments. NI (formerly AWR Corp.), announces that NI AWR Design Environment™ V12—the first major software release in 2015—is now available as a pre-release to select customers, partners and evaluators. Keysight Technologies Inc. announced that it has worked with MediaTek on the release of a manufacturing test solution for the MediaTek MT6735 mobile chipset, based on the Keysight E6640 EXM wireless test set. The MT6735, released in October of 2014, is an LTE 64-bit mobile SoC platform with integrated modem, RF and CorePilot™ technology, for use by global operators targeted at the emerging mid-range smartphone market called, Super-mid. The MT6735 builds upon MediaTek's existing LTE platform by adding CDMA2000 to create WorldMode modem capability.

Coilcraft will be highlighting their newly expanded line of BCL/BCR Series conical inductors at IMS 2015 next week in Phoenix, Arizona. The products are offered in two configurations. The BCR Series has a full-length cap to protect the coil and provide a large surface for pick and place. The BCL Series features “flying leads” to allow precise positioning and adjustment of the mounting angle.
