Anaren Inc. announced that it has introduced a family of four Anaren Integrated Radio (AIRTM) modules designed specifically to help OEMs develop products that wirelessly communicate in compliance with the ZigBee® standard. Based on the Texas Instruments Inc.
Richardson RFPD Inc. announces immediate availability and full design support capabilities for two new GaAs hybrid amplifiers from ANADIGICS. The ACA2786 and ACA2788 each consist of two pairs of parallel amplifiers that are optimized for exceptionally low distortion and noise figure with input and output transient voltage protection.
Linear Technology Corp. introduces the LTC4417, a triple-supply prioritized PowerPath™ controller for 2.5 to 36 V systems. The controller selects the highest priority valid supply among three inputs to power the load. Priority is defined by pin assignment, while a supply is considered valid after it has been inside a voltage window set by 1.5 percent accurate undervoltage and overvoltage thresholds for 256ms.
AR RF/Microwave Instrumentation has introduced a new family of solid-state RF amplifiers that instantaneously covers the 10 kHz to 400 MHz frequency range with both 200 and 400 W models. The amplifiers are designed to deliver all the power required for applications using MIL-STD, DO 160, and other automotive standards. These models can be used independently or with AR's RF conducted immunity generators when specific tests require higher powers than our standard CI Systems can generate.
Computer Simulation Technology (CST), Darmstadt, announces winners of the CST University Publication Award 2012. The CST University Publication Award is an annual grant to university institutes and researchers for work related to 3D EM field simulation applications. The winners are awarded extensions and upgrades to their CST STUDIO SUITE® installations to recognize the importance of their work and to promote further research.
Agilent Technologies Inc. announced the new webcast, “Calibration Traceability and Standards Compliance,” hosted by Bob Stern, senior metrologist and Agilent Electronic Measurement Group representative to NCSLI.
Skyworks Solutions Inc., an innovator of high performance analog semiconductors enabling a broad range of end markets, announced that it is powering several smartphone platforms that are leveraging Microsoft’s new Windows 8 operating system. With the addition of this latest OS, Skyworks’ products are now enabling all major smartphone and tablet operating systems.
