Agilent Technologies Inc. introduces a new series of eight videos are available that demonstrate how Agilent FieldFox handheld analyzers make precise microwave measurements in field-test environments such as satellite communications, microwave backhaul, military communications and radar systems.

Anritsu Corp., a global provider of innovative communications test and measurement solutions for more than 110 years, announces the opening of a 100 percent India subsidiary in Bangalore. The new office brings together marketing, sales, engineering, services, and support. By co-locating all the departments, the company expects to accelerate the rate of delivery of new products and provide better and broader support to its growing customer base in India. Anritsu also plans to start a branch office operation in Noida within this fiscal year.

Agilent Technologies Inc. announced that Hermon Labs has expanded its acoustic testing for GSM, CDMA, W-CDMA and 3GPP to include the latest acoustical testing for LTE and Voice over LTE using Agilent’s E6621A PXT wireless communications test set. Hermon Labs offers global compliance test solutions that include EMC, radio, product safety, environment and telecom.

Linear Technology Corp. introduces the LTC2945, a wide range I²C system monitor that monitors the current, voltage and power of any 0 to 80 V rail. In many cases, prior power monitoring solutions are limited to 3 to 5 V supplies and monitor voltages less than 36 V, requiring additional circuitry to monitor higher voltages. The LTC2945 has flexible power supply options, deriving power from a 4 to 80 V monitored supply, a 2.7 to 80 V secondary supply, or from the onboard shunt regulator.

Rohde & Schwarz now offers harmonic filter options for its R&S SMB100A microwave signal generator. These filters make it possible to achieve a harmonic suppression of more than –50 dBc over a wide frequency range from 150 MHz to max. 40 GHz. At low frequencies below 3 GHz, it is even possible to achieve an excellent –58 dBc.
