Passive Plus Inc. now offers an extended-value for the traditional NP0, Hi-Q 0505 and 1111 case sizes. These parts exhibit low ESR/ESL, low noise, high self-resonance as well as ultra-stable performance over temperature. Usually used for wireless broadcasting equipment, mobile base stations, GPS, MRI, and radar applications and offered in magnetic and non-magnetic terminations.

Richardson RFPD Inc. announced the availability and full design support capabilities for a new fast switching 2-bit RF digital step attenuator from Peregrine Semiconductor Corporation. The broadband PE43205 operates from 35 to 6000 MHz, covers an 18 dB attenuation range in 6 dB and 12 dB steps, with 29 ns switching time.

Richardson RFPD Inc. announced the availability of two power limiter ICs from Peregrine Semiconductor Corporation. The PE45140 and PE45450 are HaRP™ technology-enhanced RF power limiters with symmetric RF ports that limit incident power up to 50 W.  They offer wideband frequency range, maximum power handling of +47 dBm pulsed (50 W) and +40 dBm CW (10 W).

Passive Plus Inc., (PPI) in another industry first, now provides as standard, lot code marking on all leaded capacitors.

In its continuing efforts to deliver the highest reliability leaded capacitors and assemblies, Passive Plus, Inc. (PPI) now performs a 100 HR. Burn In on all leaded 1111, 2225, 3838, 6040 and 7676 series capacitors and assemblies. The PPI 100 Burn In, is done at extended voltage and 125 C, with capacitance, dissipation factor (inverse of Q), and IR (Insulation Resistance) measurements taken before and after burn in.

The MX–503 TCXO is a Ultra High Stability MCXO that uses Vectron's ultra–smooth compensation algorithms to achieve stabilities of ±30 ppb over the extended commercial temperature range of –20 to 70°C. The MX–503 fills the gap between standard TCXO and OCXO product offerings while reducing power consumption without sacrificing performance.

Richardson RFPD Inc. announced the availability and full design support capabilities for a new 1 to 2 GHz, 320 W peak power limiter from M/A-COM Technology Solutions. The MADL-011014 is ideally suited for high peak and continuous wave receive-protection applications where high-performance surface mount limiter assemblies are required, including air traffic management and radar systems.

RFMW Ltd. announces design and sales support for the TriQuint TGL2203, a 1 W VPIN limiter for Ka-band Radar systems. The TGL2203 has integrated DC blocks on both input and output ports. Capable of handling 1 W of incident CW power, this passive device has a flat leakage rate of <20 dBm at Pin <30 dBm. Insertion loss is <1 dB.

RFMW, Ltd. announces design and sales support for Peregrine Semiconductor’s PE45450, adjustable power limiter providing protection for up to 50 W pulsed RF input from 9 kHz to 6 GHz. This broadband limiter can handle up to 10 W of power in CW applications. The adjustable power limiting threshold, from +25 to +35 dBm, enables flexibility across different platforms and architectures.
