Signal Hound will participate in the 51st Annual Association of Old Crows International Symposium & Convention in Washington, D.C. on October 6-9, 2014. The featured topic of the show will be “Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations in Contested and Permissive Environments.”
Agilent Technologies Inc. announced the availability of the option RTR, the industry’s first real-time spectrum recorder and analyzer application example for real-time spectrum analyzers (RTSAs).
National Instruments announced an integrated software defined radio solution for rapidly prototyping high-performance, multichannel wireless communication systems. The NI USRP RIO platform is built on the NI LabVIEW RIO architecture and combines a high-performance 2 x 2 multiple input, multiple output (MIMO) RF transceiver capable of transmitting and receiving signals from 50 MHz to 6 GHz with an open LabVIEW programmable FPGA architecture.
Test Equipment Plus announced the Signal Hound BB60A, a real-time spectrum analyzer and RF recorder designed to capture and display RF events as short as 1 µs. The BB60A is small, lightweight, affordable,USB-based and operates from 9 kHz to 6 GHz.
Aaronia AG presents the worlds first real time handheld spectrum analyzer: the Spectran V5. Thanks to several new patents, these V5 meters offer many world premieres in measurement technology :
Teledyne LeCroy, a subsidiary of Teledyne Technologies Inc., demonstrated the world's first 100 GHz real-time oscilloscope by successfully acquiring and displaying live signals at 100 GHz bandwidth. This demonstrated performance dramatically exceeds currently available capabilities. High speed oscilloscopes are vital tools in the development of high-speed digital networks, the critical backbone of the rapidly expanding cloud-based computing paradigm that characterizes our digital age.
The new R&S BTC broadcast test center from Rohde & Schwarz provides a complete testing environment for nearly all audio, video and multimedia applications – in a single device. The RF reference signal generator generates RF signals for all global TV and broadcasting standards and simulates transmissions. The generator can also internally analyze the audio/video functions of DUTs in realtime. The modular design provides a high degree of scalability, allowing the R&S BTC to be configured for any customer requirement.
Agilent Technologies Inc. announced significant enhancements to its midrange N9020A MXA X-Series signal analyzer. New options for 160-MHz analysis bandwidth and real-time spectrum analyzer (RTSA) capability address the challenges of measuring interference in the next generation of heterogeneous wireless networks.
A new measurement option from Rohde & Schwarz for the R&S FSW high-end signal and spectrum analyzer supports realtime signal analysis for frequencies up to 50 GHz with an analysis bandwidth of 160 MHz.
