As Europe’s leading exhibition for radio technology, HAM RADIO 2026 will set the hearts of all radio enthusiasts racing from June 26 to 28. Aaronia AG will once again be participating in this major community gathering and has a few surprises in store. At its booth 450 in Hall A1, the company will be showcasing not only the real-time spectrum analyzers from the SPECTRAN® series but also innovative accessories for precise measurements in the RF environment.

Visitors can see the new adjustable notch and bandpass filter banks, which can be flexibly adapted to specific requirements. The most important filter parameters can also be adjusted. The bandwidths range from 10 MHz to 26 GHz. In addition, Aaronia offers high-quality limiters up to 40 GHz - and soon even up to 67 GHz - to protect sensitive electronics from damage caused by excessive high frequency interference.

Precise Frequency Synchronization

Often, multiple devices require the same time and frequency reference, such as in phase noise measurements, multichannel experiments and long-term measurements. Aaronia designed the PULSAR for such applications. Controlled by GNSS, it simultaneously provides extremely low-noise, synchronized signals at 10 MHz, 100 MHz and 1 GHz. The common clock ensures that measurement values from different devices remain comparable. In automated test sequences, the PULSAR enables measurements under identical time and frequency conditions. The device is powered via a USB connection, allowing for quick and easy use anywhere.

Edge Mount Waveguide PCB Adapters

The solderless Edge Mount Waveguide PCB adapters are particularly valuable for circuit development or custom designs. All adapters in the series feature an identical, solderless PCB connector surface. The connection to the PCB is made using the screws provided. The adapters are suitable for PCBs with a thickness of up to 2.2 mm. Currently available are adapters for WR08, WR10, WR12 and WR15 waveguides, as well as 1-mm and 1.85-mm coaxial connectors.

Trade Show Highlight: Magnetic Connectors

Whether you’re a professional or an amateur, there’s no substitute for a good connector. However, loose screw connections or bent internal conductors repeatedly ruin measurements. With its brand-new magnetic connectors, Aaronia puts an end to such problems. No tools are needed - simply bringing the two parts together creates a reliable, form-fit and absolutely durable connection. Special, powerful magnets ensure this. And for those who want to be absolutely certain, specially configured magnets are available. This prevents reverse polarity, since, for example, two north poles are matched together. Currently, the magnetic RF connectors are available for N, SMA, 2.92, 1.85 and 1 mm.
