Accurate simulation models for single-layers capacitors have to date not been widely available. Modelithics has recently developed a proven methodology for producing broadband, measurement-validated equivalent-circuit, and 3D electromagnetic models for SLCs. These new models are parametrically scalable and validated to frequencies as high as 67 GHz.
