MilliBox unveils two new products GIM06 and MBX02K at the 2025 edition of the IEEE AP-S/URSI conference in Ottawa Canada, from July 15 to July 18, 2025. These products are demonstrated live for the first time at MilliBox booth 504.

GIM06 is a new addition to MilliBox wide portfolio of antenna positioners entirely designed to bring the best performance at the most affordable price. In essence GIM06 will supplant the foundational GIM01 positioner. GIM06 keeps all the great features of GIM01, like passthrough wiring, direct drive motorization on elevation axis for example. But also, GIM06 improves from GIM01 with a larger DUT platform of 16 cm width and 5 cm in depth with 1 kg weight capacity with increased body robustness. And these improvements are offered at an even lower market price for a maximum reach for customers with budget constraints. GIM06 is seamlessly integrated into MBX controller software, written in Python and delivered in source like all other MilliBox positioners for maximum cross compatibility. GIM06 enters the market at a price below $10,000 U.S. and is available for immediate purchase.

MBX02K is a new affordable bundle fully leveraging GIM06 price point to offer to the market the most affordable complete OTA testing solution for mmWave and sub-THz antenna and radar characterization. MBX02K consists of a MBX02 4 ft. benchtop anechoic chamber, GIM06 best value 2-axis positioner, and the MBX software controller which interfaces with most instrument brands on the market. MBX02K complete turnkey solution is available for purchase and is introduced at a price below $20,000 US.

“Recently we have demonstrated our technical leadership in mmWave and sub-THz high-end OTA systems and solutions going up to 330GHz, as it is important to propose products at the frontier of innovation. But MilliBox as a brand, was always also about making these systems affordable and performant for the largest number of engineers and GIM06 and MBX02K are the latest testimony of our roots. We hope everyone can get a great MilliBox system with any budget they can secure,” said Jeanmarc Laurent founder and vice president of Milliwave Silicon Solutions Inc, the company behind MilliBox.
