- Apollo MxFE™: Agile Multi- Band Phased Array Radar with Sydney Wells
- Learn more about the Apollo MxFE AD9088 (8T8R) in a multi-band Radar application. Operating across both S-band and X-band, the system highlights high performance transmit and receive paths, fast frequency hopping and on-chip digital error correction capabilities. Witness how fast switching of hardened IP showcases Apollo's agility for multi-band, multi-mission phased array radar systems.
- High-Speed Converter + GPU Optical Streaming with Bryce Readyhough
- Extracting data from high performance, high-data-rate analog signal chains for AI model training and real-time inference has become a key trend, driven by the shift from traditional signal processing to AI-driven flows. Learn how ADI leverages an NVIDIA-based platform to build a complete data extraction framework, built on top of open-source software, open-source FPGA infrastructure and scalable host-side data management flows. It targets ADI’s Apollo MxFE (AD9084) in a 3UVPX system (ADI ADSY1100) to streamline the development and deployment of AI-capable and intelligent edge systems.
- 0.1-20 GHz 3UVPX Tuner + Digitizer + Processor with Stephen Pancrazio
- A four-channel transmit, four-channel receive 3UVPX tuner plus digitizer platform all contained within a single 1-inch pitch chassis has been developed leveraging a multichannel high-speed digitizer integrated circuit (IC). The system enables wideband digitization up to 5GSPS data rates per channel covering a frequency tuning range between 0.1-20GHz and is comprised of both a Digitizer Base Card and a Tuner Personality Card. The digital offload options include on-board memory as well as both copper and optical Ethernet interfaces enabled by a FPGA/SoC combination collocated with a multichannel digitizer IC on the Digitizer Base Card. The front-end networks which leverage new multi-function RF front-end IC technology for the Tuner Personality Card is also covered. Additionally, this demo describes plans to enable key digitizer IC hardened digital signal processing (DSP) features often required for many applications, such as low latency loopback, fast frequency hopping, on-chip FFT sniffing and dynamic decimation/interpolation reconfiguration.
- Multi-Chip Synchronization of Two 16T/16R Systems with Ian Beavers and Jeff Chambliss
- How can you synchronize a plethora of RF sub-system tiles, clocked at 12.8GSPS, that could be meters or even tens of meters away from each other? A breakout board for the Nevis family of transceivers (ADRV910x) accelerates the development of your embedded application software. A VCO reference design enables the best phase noise performance for Nevis-based, high performance radio applications. The new "Dual Navassa" evaluation system provides a platform for evaluating the RF Multi-Chip Sync (MCS) capabilities of the ADRV900x series transceivers. And lastly, the new AD9310 evaluation system provides a compact development platform that is ideal for assessing the capabilities of the AD9310 integrated GNSS RF front-end.
- Agility in Action: Frequency Hopping with DPD and AGC with Matt Hazel
- Witness firsthand what ADRV9002 agile transceiver is capable of. The ADRV9002 can operate frequency hopping over its full 30 MHz to 6 GHz frequency range hopping as fast as 13 us, fulfilling Link16 requirements. While hopping it can support PA linearization utilizing internal Digital Predistortion engine. You will see DPD improving ACPR by up to >70 DBc while dynamically hopping over a number of channels. ADRV9002 can utilize its receiver gain control block to settle gain very fast ensuring uninterrupted reception of the signal.
- 10 GSPS Digitizer for ToF Mass Spectroscopy with Malcolm Sherman-Godfrey
- Experience ADI’s 10GSPS DC-Coupled Digitizer in a realistic simulation of a time-of-flight spectroscopy system. Utilizing the 5GHz analog bandwidth of the AD9213 RF ADC enables direct sampling of time-domain signals with durations of less than 1ns while accurately recording DC baseline voltage levels thanks to a fully DC-coupled signal chain. Built-in DC offset adjustment capability allows for this baseline to be shifted by a user-programmable value, meaning the digitizer solution can handle a wide range of input signal waveforms and DC voltage levels. In addition, the synchronized 40MSPS precision signal path enabled by the AD4080 precision SAR ADC measures the same input signal in parallel, significantly reducing 1/f noise for wideband time-domain applications.
- 6G FR3 RFFE for OTA test systems with Mark Damato
- As wireless standards evolve from 5G to 6G, the test and measurement complexity is increasing. Witness ADI’s instrument grade 6G FR3 front-end signal chain intended for conductive and OTA test systems to maintain signal fidelity. In this demonstration, a modulated IF signal is upconverted to 7.1 GHz by the FR3 transmitter front-end and travels over the air. The FR3 receiver front-end down converts the RF signal to a modulated IF signal and its EVM is analyzed on a 3rd party analysis tool. The measured EVM matches high performing T&M requirements.
- DPS for PA Characterization with Sean Kowalik and Adrian Kulesza
- Learn about ADI’s ADMX3001 Device Power Supply as the bias (source) for RF power amplifier (PA) characterization. Bias conditions (voltage bias, current limit) are swept programmatically while applying various test signals (including level and potentially predistortion) to the input of the PA under test using an analog signal generator and measuring the resulting distortion using a spectrum analyzer. See how the power delivery capabilities (up to 1A per channel at 5 V) and configuration flexibility of this instrument support both laboratory characterization as well as production test.

- µModule DC/DC power products deliver single and multi-channel power solutions, supporting a diverse range of power levels and input and output voltages in advanced and reliable packages. µModule DC/DC products have a 20-year history of providing enhanced electrical, mechanical and thermal performance. ADI’s latest µModule regulators with patented silent switcher technology feature low EMI and low RMS and spot noise, eliminating the need for LC pi-filter or LDO post-filtering downstream of switching converters in noise-sensitive applications. The LTM8060F features integrated package-level EMI shielding, enabling a smaller overall solution by allowing it to be placed near noise-sensitive circuits: the DC/DC’s electric field is completely confined; the radiated magnetic field is greatly attenuated.
